The Tropical Greenhouse

Experience palms, exotic fruits, the wonderful scent of orchids, and tropical heat. Visit the green, humid rainforest, study plants from dry deserts, or enjoy fresh greenness a dark winter’s day.

In the greenhouse you will find plants not tolerant to the Swedish climate, such as cacao, black pepper, vanilla and banana. Summertime the giant water lily Victoria cruziana dominates the pond in the Victoria hall with its enormous leaves.
