The Museum of Evolution is Uppsala University’s natural history museum. It houses large collections of animals, plants, fossils and minerals that are studied by the University’s researchers and students. The oldest objects date from the 17th century and new ones are constantly being obtained so that the collections grow every year. They now contain more than five million objects. The Museum’s main task is to preserve the objects for future research.

Tickets purchased here are also valid at the Museum of Evolution Palaeontology.
