Old Uppsala Museum

A Mythical Site

Old Uppsala with its three monumental Royal burial mounds is one of Scandinavia’s most valuable cultural sites. Between the 6th century and the early Middle ages the place was a major power in politics and religion. The museum illustrates the myth and the history of the area. Here you will find an interactive exhibition as well as archaeological artefacts.
