The Heritage Railway – “Lennakatten”

A historical trip in devotedly restored coaches hauled by a steam locomotive or take a railcar from the Fifties! The narrow-gauge railway – Uppsala–Länna–Faringe 33 km – maintains the heritage from when the railway was in its infancy. Nature and authentic station settings strengthen the experience.

Timetables are presented in early spring on our website. During season some specific events have their own timetable, for example the Lennakatten Day, last weekend in June, and "Kulturnatten" Sep 12th. Special tickets to the popular "Ice Cream Train" (sundays before Midsummer) are released at our webstore around May 1st.

The traffic season on Lennakatten 2026 starts in the middle of May and ends in late September.
